Misprinted money sent into circulation in Argentina
ARGENTINA—We came across this 'oops' and had to pass it on  — would you accept money that had zero as the denomination?

Well, apparently in Argentina, you wouldn't have much choice. A news clip from Buzz60 explains that a dispute at Argentina's money-printing plant resulted in the job going to neighbouring Brazil.

The problem is, when the cash arrived, the '1' had been clipped off one side of the 100 peso notes, appearing as '00'.

But instead of reprinting the money, the Argentine government decided to put it into circulation as the economy is hurting and inflation is high, explained Buzz60.

It's unknown how many bills with '00' hit the streets.

It could be worse... at least Argentina's money doesn't shrivel in the heat like the new Canadian polymer $50 and $100 bills, as reports suggest.
